Ruffer I believe is still a substantial holder, so perhaps there is hope that at some time they will turn profitable, perhaps in 2021 when gold may get over USD2000/ounce (AUD3000?). They seem to have plenty of cash/bullion/investments on hand to last till then, although with JN running the mining operations one can never count on that.
