LCK maybe considered by the Government as a way to guarantee supply and price. This then has the benefit of providing confidence to commit the massive infrastructure that is needed to create a new industry while other economic efficiencies in the technology is developed. If it works, it could be extrapolated globally as the 'Australian hydrogen model', with LCK possibly capable of providing further supply.
PS. This is not a price sensitive announcement. That may explain the reaction of some!
