Given that all this happened through three separate announcements, with first one being labelled as non-sensitive, I think it is quite possible that the accounting mismatch escalated and led to a bigger clash between the board and the CEO. I agree with others up this thread that this company is ripe for a new CEO – how many disappointing results and announcements have we had in the last two years? FNP should be making a killing on panic buying, lactoferrin and their dairy free products!
Let’s hope on Friday we will hear that the issue with the asset value is manageable, the company will give a good trading update and appoint a top CEO very shortly.
Ah, and don’t worry about shorts. They are just like us – they get it wrong all the time. Besides, 5-6% of shorters is not a lot.
