My relatively slight experience in the markets has taught me that there is very little difference between the mentality of sheep and human beings.

(I think that Sir David Attenborough has touched on this curious phenomenon a number of times).

Therefore I believe that the 'penny will drop' only when the 'herd mentality' is awakened by some 'left field' catalyst or event.

That could be any number of things. It could be relatively minor. But whatever it is, you can bet that the sheep...I mean investors and traders will follow the lead en masse.

One thing for sure though...bleating the bleeding obvious here hasn't provided that catalyst yet.
