My current view on volatility is that its a combination of bad news, forced sales (margin calls and hedge funds) and a genuine lack of buyers and sellers. This leads to both buyers and sellers only stepping in when they feel they have a bargain. Therefore a forced seller will need to sell very low to tempt the buyer and vis versa.

Eventually it must come to an end. Take ABC learing and BNB, extreme maybe but the game must come to an end.
