From my recollection back then:

1. They had announced that Andrew Liveris and Admiral Natter were going to join the board as non directors the following year: Now they have joined the board and seem to have been a positive edition, including supporting the business with their own capital.

2. They were building a pilot plant: Now they have completed the pilot plant and completed a Plant to produce 500 tonnes per annum and have just raised the money to expand this plant to 2,000 tonnes per annum over the next year.

3. They were talking about "beach head customers" that they were in discussions with. :Now they have a contract with Samsung SDI for an initial purchase of 500 tonnes of Pure Graphite starting in October 2020 and have an agreement with Sanyo (Panasonic) who, after an initial assessment of the Pure Graphite from the pilot plant are testing the Pure Graphite out of the production facility to see if it is the same standard as out of the pilot plant. Novonix are aiming to get supply agreements with Sanyo.

4. On top of this through research partners at Dalhousie University (Dr. Mark Obrovac's group) Novonix has patent's for Dry particle Micro-granulation (DPMG) which reduces the cost of production by using 100% of materials, reduces waste water and materials. It can be used in the Anode and Cathode production. On top of this Dr. Mark Obrovac's research group has developed electrolyte's that are superior to other's.

The DPMG is able to produce single crystal Cathodes.

5. The CEO of Novonix is Chris Burns a Battery Scientist who is overseeing the whole of the Novonix development. He had set up the Laboratory for Tesla at Dalhousie university. Novonix also have as their Chief Technical officer Dr. David Stevens a battery scientist, who co-founded Novonix. Between Dr. Chris Burns, Dr. David Stevens and Dr. Mark Ovrovac and his research team, they know the battery development business inside and out.

6. Novonix Battery testing Services were only making a small amount of money in 2017, and in this full year they will likely turn over 4.5 million dollars.

7. Novonix group are also expanding from a Anode manufacturer to an Anode, Cathode manufacturer and have patents for Electrolytes. So have the full package to offer battery manufacturers.

8. On top of this is the supply chain within America, which due to the Covid disaster has highlighted the need to source materials from outside of China.This is something that the United States Senate has been recently investigating and may result in assistance to manufacturers of Battery materials within the United states.

9. Novonix through their recent over-subscribed capital raise, is now debt free and has the money to develop the above technologies.

So Alee a lot has changed over the past 3 years, Novonix has transformed itself into a Battery materials and technology business that 3 years ago we could not have imagined.

For others they need to do their own research before investing.

These are the reasons why i and others have invested in Novonix prior to the capital raise and why in my opinion it is a good investment.
