That paradigm is out the window with all of the QE / money in the system isn't it? I'm not saying your wrong but it's not a 1:1 comparison. Also, many of these companies are not solely tech and they have cash. I am sure I read something along the lines of if AAPL did not sell a single product for 18 months, they could still pay their employees.
