What's with all this adulation of the MD? Genuine question. From what I can see he is just another suit, a career ticket clipper. It may well be that he was very good at his chosen line of work and it may well be that he has great ambition in navigating a mid-career change by developing a gold producer. But I refer you to Morning Star (MCO) which similarly was run by a bloke who had much success in the financial sector and great plans for his company. Also read up about how the ex-bosses of Silver Lake and Dacian went from roosters to feather dusters in the eyes of their adoring fans.

I follow Rox so obviously I hope it turns out to be a raging success but surely it will be the drill bit not where the MD has his suits made that will be the decider of that.
