I received a letter from NAB today informing me that I had a pre approved personal loan for $35000. I didn't apply for it and I don't intend to use it , but I'm wondering what happened to the credit squeeze . I know we were having one yesterday but apparently everything is OK now .
The funny part is that I'm a low income earner with a mortgage , two kids at school etc. I wouldn't be able to service such a loan . I'd be interested to hear others views on this as it seems to me to be a grossly stupid offer in these times . How many of these things were sent out and how many folk would be sorely tempted to accept the offer ?
