what happened "there" happened here but worse, page-4

problem that we have here in Oz is that investors/mortgage slaves are used to living "lower" quality of life than in other parts of "first" world...so...you'll often run into asset or monetary 'rich' people that live the life of a battler and see nothing wrong with it...

... as we heard here on HC in couple of instances some (according to their own opinion) affluent property investors think that eating at McDonalds is a luxury and plasma TV's are a "priviledge" of established investors...

(...makes you wonder: if people need nothing 'more' in life why do they "keep accruing" stuff (in this case properties)? )

you'll hear it very often and with certain pride or glee in their eyes that "a millionaire builder rocks up to an auction,all dirty and in a beat up ute and snatches the property from 'all those' "fancy car driving suits"...

it's as if that is something to be proud of...

you're working your guts off... and you earned some money but you're still driving a bomb or you're still bringing your own sandwiches to work or ... basically, you still live like you havent accomplished much BUT your bank account is showing larger number !!!

AND THAT'S a GOOD THING ???

so we have tonnes of cashed up 'heathens' living like they are 'social cases' fighting for properties that otherwise would fall in category of FHB's and in the process increasing median prices on those same battlers whose lifestyle they so proudly share, preventing REAL BATTLERS from exscaping the trap of "battling" !!!

the point of this whole RANT is: as much as they deserve a LESSON, i think that Aussie mortgage slaves are prepared to go a "little further" than english or american ones and that's going to prolong the inevitable (agony)...solely due to them being prepared "going without" 'cose they never "had it" in the first place !!!

englo/american "investor" bought up jetski's, boats, fancy "pick ups" , properties in france and spain, travelled (at least to europe)...

what did aussie "investor" do ?

went to bali (and that's cose it's cheaper than home) and bought another fibro shack in some irrelevant place therefore increasing the house price on 'locals' who needeed shelter !

...but he/she is proud to announce to the world that 'good bottle of red' is on the table every night after a busy day of accruing !!!!

what a royal lifestyle !!!
