An environmentalist would "cut us up for ass paper" even if they weren't well versed in science and engineering.
According to aforementioned environmentalists, the entire resource industry is by definition, responsible for environmental vandalism on an industrial scale. I'd agree with half of that - they are responsible for doing things at an industrial scale.
Look, let's be real here. Left unchecked, resource industry (any commercial activity) would probably descend back in to the industrial dark ages and rape, pillage and plunder - for that we have former environmental activists to thank.
But, these days - mining companies can't even open a box of Cornflakes without submitting a Program for Environmental Protection and Rehabilitation to the relevant Government department.
And LCK are certainly meeting those requirements; and that is the name of the game.
Environmentalists (qualified or otherwise) loose in the wild can hoot n' holler all they like - it doesn't make a scrap of difference. As long as the project complies with the Department of Mining and Energy requirements (which is a stringent process, has many steps, involves public consultation and independent scientific analysis) then the project gets the Green Light. If it doesn't, The Department will kill it in a heart beat.
So far so good.
