Mongo,
How was the break?...
Was having lunch with a few mates, who are still professionals in the market, and we were discussing this most recent move from $20.
The consensus seems to be that, obviously, BHP was dramatically oversold at $20 mark.
But also the market is anticipating revised price targets from muted brokers valuing BHP purely on a stand alone entity, now that the merger is toast.
Price valuations in the highs 30s to mid 40s are expected.
This has carried the SP higher than what would normally be expected for a first move in an up leg.
Pullback is anticipated, before higher moves into DEC/JAN
