I'm conscious of creating new threads in any forum, but I had a thought at around 4:30am (apparently the most creative time of the day)...
Titomic branching out into building vehicle chassis/frames in one single piece? What would it cost to build a titanium car/transport or tank? Would it be feasible?
I'm no mechanical engineer or anything, but given their recent military focused acquisition and work with aviation and marine, I thought that surely at some point they have entertained the idea of building or contributing to a vehicle line, either military or civilian. Ie does tesla make the whole car or do they subcontract sections?
Does anyone else have ideas for what Titomic could achieve in the long term?
