Can someone tell me how long you can short a stock for? ie. once you sell it, how long do you get before you have to purchase it at the (hopefully) lower price? Just curious.
I bought a couple of BHP calls at low 20's, sold them at around $30 then bought a couple of puts. I couldn't believe the five day rally last week! Hopefully today is the turn, I still have until the end of December left until expiry of my options.
