The total employees in our China product design dept housed over three hundred people. I was among them for over six years. Anyone who had a problem they couldn't solve could come to me anytime. I didn't just meet them. The several dozen I mentioned were people I worked with daily so I had more detail on where they came from and as I said they were coming from major population centres all over the country to get the best tech jobs.
