Thank you for your insight. I appreciate your knowledge in this area and thoughts on how NVX fits in and the hurdles to its ability to succeed.
I thought that NVX had patented new manufacturing technologically, such as DPMG, that NVX can use to develop the SG faster, more cost effectively, with greater density and a greater life cycle.
I understood that it was this breakthrough that makes the mmb viable. NVX has an initial order from Samsung of 500 tn which is supposed to be a chance to prove the company's ability to meet its obligations and to prove the material works as claimed.
If they are successful, then it will become interesting. Does Hitachi have the ability to produce SG in the same fashion NVX is claiming it can do so and with the success NVX class the new materials will achieve? If so, then it is probably a minnow swimming upstream in the wild. But if it does have unique manufacturing techniques that greater a superior product, then it seems as if it is a minnow swimming in its own pool.
Your thoughts on the impact of this new technology (or anyone else's thoughts) are very much welcome!
