One other thing I would say is that if Mesoblast becomes a big part of fighting COVID-19 ARDS that many are making comments about how the USA government would try to claim ownership in a round about way and how unfair that is ... Let them I say .... as Alex W stated on a few occasions, the Australian government need to get behind Mesoblast (production site, $ etc etc) and they haven’t yet ... the USA government through the NIH have thrown approx $50m USD at this trial so far and that support surely warrants some ‘American’ claim to fame IMO ... as long as they mention the company was founded in Oz I think this would be acceptable given their support to date, wouldn’t you ?
