sinvestor, thats exactly why markets get so heavily sold on days like this.. panic selling. If you believe that in the short term the market will only head straight down then you have done the right thing. But.. do you honestly believe that will happen? Even if there is much more downside to come it is more than likely that during the volatility we will see higher levels on the asx than todays finish.. imo
Can't speak for rio as i think the poor sentiment is definitely the driving force behind the selling. imo it has further to fall but i hope i'm wrong.
This stock will see some upside if commodoties and oil rally into xmas. If not it will react accordingly.
