Your right - RM will be holding the reins. The RM would already have cut deals with contractors etc as they wear personal liability for all work undertaken if they order it during their appointment ( would have an indemnity from creditor to cover this ).
VA report will give us an insite into events leading up to this - creditor meeting i think due in 7 days - may give some clues.
Little more to do than wait & see.
