what's wrong with dividends? but i know what you mean, they should keep the money to keep growing the business however its no use sometimes if the SP just keeps rising and we make great paper profits while holding and holding and holding, dividends are a nice little cash fillip, extra reward and encourage people to keep holding the shares.. if there is no dividend and only capital growth which is nothing to complain about, there is usually a lot of selling ...

however why aren't we being advised of how the SPP has been going. Other SPP offer companies let people know at the time it it has happened if they have been oversubscribed and what the status of the allotments will be before the due date. Since we have no word coming from KGN in that regard yet, I suspect they have not been oversubscribed. Is there a rule for these disclosures or is it just up to the company's discretion. We will know tomorrow anyway, I think.
