And the great benefit of being first with strong patent protection is it gives the Company time to lock in (if AKIDA1000 performs to spec) significant income streams from the Ford’s & Valeo’s, the Socionext’s and the large Sth Korean companies from which to fund future expansion without diluting loyal shareholders stakes.
The reality is that if Ford and Valeo come onboard after testing and start marketing products unseen on the market the tiny OEM’s will be grovelling at the front door no advertising required.
Going into huge debt to fund unnecessary advertising of a product which the retail consumer has no interest in knowing about is not in shareholders interest.
I love cars but when I bought my Mercedes I did not ask whether the starter motor was made by Bosch. I was buying a Mercedes. The only reason you have heard of a particular brand of airbags is because they killed people yet before that just about every car maker used the brand at one time or another.
I have a great deal of confidence in saying that if AKIDA1000 or the IP is used by Ford you will never read about BRN in any sales brochure put out by Ford.
It is all about Brand differentiation and Ford does not want its consumers to know it is fundamentally the same technology as another
car maker uses because then competition is reduced to price and Brand loyalty is destroyed.
