    Claired,

Thanks for your comments. It is good to discuss aspects of companies whether they be positive or negative. The fact is, I think I'm one of about 7 or 8 shareholders left as everyone else ran when EPY fell through 5c.

I don't take umbridge at your comments as this forum is all about sharing information.

According to EPY's 1 February 2007 announcement, Jack Tan replaced Jonathon Soon. According to that release, Soon resigned as both director and secretary to pursue other interests (maybe Sooncorp - his ego project).
So, I guess I'm asking you WHY you think Soon's back on the scene. Is it because of the consolidation or do you have evidence to suggest this?

In reality, consolidations are 50/50 in terms of success. A disaster story is poor old Range Resources (RRS). You may know it. It's an old uranium player with misc other assets operating out of Somalia, a lawless desolated failed country which makes Zimbabwe look like Monte Carlo. I remember the nay sayers warning investors that there may be good below the soil but avoiding warlord gang attacks and almost snail pace beauracracy would hold RRS up. It was a hot darling for a while like CVI, and then.....utter disaster!

I live and work in Bangkok and have witnessed first hand the growth of E-Pay here, and in the last year they've become ubiquitous. If they had not expanded in the region as they'd promised I would have run like the others. Maybe they're timing this move ahead of announcing a move into China as they already have the first province ready to go. The way I see it, we witness companies boom and they become market darlings (BHP, Woolies, Pepsi, Coke etc). BUT these companies didn't start as success stories. They had detractors who predicted doom amd gloom and granted, many more fell by the wayside competing with them. Other darlings hit the heights only to fall. ABS, Babcock and Brown. Look at MQG chart, and RIO - a collossal mining giant now nursing $80bn debt with cancelled contracts from China as the world economy cools rapidly. A friend told me earlier this year "Sell that dud EPY and buy RIO". Back then RIO was $147.00 a share. Lucky I didn't listen.

So, I may as well hold because selling now means that I won't even have enough to pay off my credit card.

You disclose that you're a holder? If so, why do you hold?

Bangkok Airport is open again so if you plan a trip here I'll shout you first drink.....really I will.

Thanks again for sharing your comments.

    Regards
