I tend to agree with you Levelhead.
We came to an agreement with Gecamines in early September which is before the copper price fell off a cliff and we would have signed minutes to cover that agreement that will eventually form the basis of written contracts.
For First Quantum, Freeport & some others, their DRC properties are secondary to their main assets situated in other countries so they can play hard-ball with the DRC govt in threatening international court action to uphold their contracts.
But all our assets are in the DRC so we were over a barrel and had to agree to some of the demands made otherwise we could have lost the lot but history might show that we agreed a couple of months too early given the current copper price. Hope I'm wrong.
