Howdy Footmax , et-al, just as my spec of golds worth of comment - I dont believe we will EVER have a return to the gold standard AS WE KNEW IT. Certainly not to say it won't come back in some formal form. Too many governments are not walking away from gold and it is still one of the only universally accepted pure raw materials of value - maybe we get to have several, creating a basket of value. Just a thought.
As to DCN. Am only a recent holder. Took the opportunity to buy in after the debacle. Believe downside has been significantly de-risked but not eliminated altogether - but then if it had I would not have been able to enter at the $0.40 level. Happy to give management time to find its legs and hope we receive some clear and precise updates in the not too distant future. SP is mainly about market perceptions. Managements job in that regard is to ensure a clear and achievable set of objectives and outcomes are communicated to the market so that SH's don't make up their own worst case scenarios that help the SP to needlessly decline. That does not mean they should be making announcements every day of the week just to satisfy nervous holders.
