Coronavirus and Influenza are classed as Enveloped Viruses.
Which means they are wrapped in a pressurised cell, similar to Bacteria.
Recce 327 attacks the cell wall, weakening it to the point where that high pressure inside the cell causes the cell to explode. Once the cell ruptures, the body's immune system kicks into gear and cleans up.
I don't believe that Recce 327 would work against Non Enveloped Viruses, as they have no cell wall to attack.
That's my layman's understanding.
