I understand how credit cards work, my question was thrown back to the person who asked it, it may get them to think for themselves a little.
There are debit visa cards that can be used without getting in to debt as an option to credit cards.
It has been expressed that a percentage of people will be in the lowest earning demographic but that could also be said for people with credit cards.
Why have a credit card, when you can have a debit visa?
The fact that APT can be used for budgetary purposes will suit many people and not just the lowest earning.
People may have large mortgages on large incomes yet wish to use APT to budget rather than having larger lump sums taken from their wages.
It doesn't mean that all people are low income earners, that is just an assumption.
My two kids use it who earn 6 figure incomes and have no debt, their friends use it who also have reasonable incomes.
Paying things off and budgeting is a way of life, APT is a much more responsible way of paying rather than credit cards.
