Yes Uncle Duck you are correct.
Competition brings out the best in companies and allows them to be innovative, profitable and thrive, or not. ASX the company is attempting to cut off the competition (ISX) without declaring a conflict of interest as ASX the regulator. ASIC needs to stand up here and make the distinction between the two ASX's and rule in favour of the public shareholder that ASX the regulator has forgotten or refuses to advocate for.
I prefer my shares to be in Australia, but if ASX can't manage to look after my interests it is time to vote in favour of the motion to de-list.
