Despite the usual cynics (and understandably so) the fact that Credit Suisse are involved is very positive. These guys are big investors in the likes of Medtronic and Edwards and cover the TAVR space extensively. They have previously mentioned AVR (unpaid) in research notes, the same notes where they discuss the Titans in the industry (Edwards, Medtronic and Boston Scientific)

Very few investors probably realise that only two weeks ago one of our Advisory Board members became Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Medtronic’s structural heart division. This is a prominent TAVR MD that would be in charge of approving the science of any prospective partner. Popma has contributed to the DurAVR valve for Anteris. This is very big IMHO. It’s probably no coincidence that Medtronic Just today released a video talking with Doctor Paul Sorajja MD - Abbott Northwestern Hospital about a TAVR patient story. You see DR Jeffrey Popma and DR Paul Sorajja are Anteris Ad Board buddies.

Anyway, I digress, back to the announcement and the important points for me are:

* We will get an update on the TAVR program
* We will get an update on the SAVR trial. This means we should have about 8 patients or at least 50% enrolled. This result will be meaningful.
* On top of all of this we get the opportunity to hear from 3 of the most renowned TAVR MD’s in the world talk about the challenges faced by the current TAVR valves and how Anteris may provide the solution. This market is a multi billion dollar market.

This announcement (IMHO) is significant and will provide lots of interesting and important information provided by experts in the TAVR field.

I think this announcement is more important than the market gives it credit for and look I forward to the presentation and associated news it will provide.

When it comes to fast talking, "promise the world" everything Yanks (American Hustle anyone?), and associated merchant bankers and brokers, I would now only act in the future (allocating capital and giving them more of my money) after "Seeing is believing"... Sorry about that E - call me cynical (sure) but when it comes to the "proof is in the pudding" (aka making money for shareholders -not everyone else), this outfit has been "full of it" (like the many yanks who have spruiked it before) for years... Just my opinion. My goodness I hope for your sake I am finally proven wrong E.. IMO!!!
