The npr interview is in line with NUF noting a downturn in Brazil.
One thing though - partway through the npr interview the farmer said that Brazil exports a lot of its food production to China and that China was apparently cancelling a lot of its contracts?? First time I've heard any suggestion that China was cutting back on its food requirements. Surely not because of the credit crisis?
