They were in tears not me thinking that I am some kind of rock. It really is good to let people tell me about their problems
because they get something out with someone they can trust.
Even if I might not have a solution I can listen and ask open ended questions or have empathy. Sometimes it might be a suggestion
too like maybe your accountant might be worth discussing this with.
Some business will fold and some can and will hold on with the right decisions made and employers do feel a responsibility
for all their good workers that they have spent time up skilling too.
The GFC was bad but this is a double wammy with health thrown in and the repercussions will be felt for a hell of a long time.
Add to that the worry some have for their parents health too.
