I had to consider a dog in the garden design as well much to the landscapers surprise. It was her garden to live in too and she
had to be accommodated with cool spots etc. It initially involved too much clipping and pruning and so I made executive
decisions and pulled a few things out. LOL

The odd dog brisket bone had to be buried too. LOL Who's coming in with earth on her nose?

Then a neighbor took down a big tree that provided shade to my ferny area so things scorched and that area was changed.

I also welcomed other friends dogs who were not fussy as to where they pissed in the garden either so some Mondo grass
edging got the flick too. You can get the picture LOL

Then breezes carried those tall sea foam rose petals into the pond and they were hellish to prune so another executive decision was
made lest I walk around looking like a little Ozzie bleeder from that pruning and dead heading.

And you try constantly being on a ladder pruning Wisteria even though it is superb but grows like it's the day of the triffids.

It was a bit PB but I did insist on the kiwi fruit M and F etc.

It was over planted to start with and he was a little shocked and asked what I had done to HIS garden. He was so proud of it.
If he wanted me to change my mind about anything he would say - no way that is so Glen Waverly and I would call him a snob.

Most of the upkeep and mowing I was doing myself then and I had to laugh when some said - so low maintenance. Little did
    they know. LOL

Some things like echium also become very leggy so they went finally. Gardens do change and develop and I changed a bit too.
Come to think of it I might have changed a lot. LOL Me and my executive decisions.

    Sorry another long post. AGAIN
