This just reflects the falling Ni price. All analysts have been lowering their forecast Ni prices and their valuations of Ni companies (indeed all commodity companies).
I am not sure if WSA will actually make a loss. I doubt that we will get any dividend in the first half of 2009.
We are all waiting for significant supply destruction to occur along with the current Ni demand destruction. Ni below $US6/lb is not sustainable in the longer term for the lateriate producers so a lot of supply will be cut at some point. Also some of the other sources of Ni will be reduced, so at some stage in the not too distant future WSA will become highly profitable.
Streeter was buying WSA all the way up to $10 early this year. Maybe he has a cash flor problem himself just as do so many other company directors of other companies.
