Thank you @LeftYahoo for your time spent sharing the crux of this paper.
I just wanted to double check something. I am sure MSB's current 300 pp RCT limits participation to within 72 hours of intubation but my (not always to be trusted) memory does not recall MSB having any such requirement for the 12pp EAP at Mt Sinai. My impression was that the EAP took 'dismal' prognosis cases that may have been intubated for longer (some possibly even longer than the Spanish EAP) before receiving stem cells, making the MSB EAP success rate even more remarkable.
Please correct me if wrong. And if correct, could the introduction of this enrolment criterion in the current RCT increase the chances of even better survival/time to recovery rates?
