i.e peoples salaries are deferred for the most part so it makes sense that BNPL stocks are up. However this is a ASX:WEB thread.
Travel industry has been hit with a pandemic (not the first time and won't be the last) and as such comes with knock on effects, but those effects are also generally reversed as people begin to come back to the realisation that travel will always have a part in business / leisure / family life. We have recently had a newborn and family haven't had the opportunity to visit due to the circumstances, and have known people who have passed and family have also had the same limitations. There's a lot of pent up travel waiting to happen. A small sample of this that could be seen was when the borders re-opened and the queues went for hours.

In my opinion however with travel and the current circumstances, the biggest ares of travel to first come back to life will be managed travel (so people can navigate the ins and outs around changed travel policies etc) and also travel insurance as there is an introduced risk that has been created with covid.

Even just a moment ago the NSW Premier stated that they may never be fully rid of covid. I think beginning to come to that realisation will mean that we begin to adapt at a faster rate, which also comes back to my point about living with it in a managed state.
