Yeah - I'd like to know how it is actually applied....
ie: Solar generates power in DC so there will have to be positive (+) and negative (-) coming out of the panel/wall/roof or whatever surface.
If this technology is as easy as applying a paint to a surface then how are + and - terminals identified?
Perhaps there are several layers of dye (or paint) which interact with each other through a semiconductor insulation layer...if anything I'd imagine that positive comes off a separate layer to the negative.
This is just a guess, however it seems like a very logical way to do it, well to me anyway!
I'm off to research it right now....will post definiteive answers shortly!
