andrew sadly i was in hospital with life threatening cecum volvulus on 23 march for emergency surgery and later discovered sepsis rampant in the abdominal cavity i was in icu for 7 days and had a heart attack on the theatre table during surgery and spent a week in the coronary ward
it was free because the closest emergency hospital was public
they saved my life great team but i was advised as i was self funded ( ie no health cover the cost of that would have been over $250,000) in the usa if you are in hospital with health cover the cost can run welll over that even to 50-100 g per day in icu if the application of recce 327 or 529 can get you out of hospital days earlier the savings are clear so even at a $50,000 recce dose regime the health system could save say $200,000! sure we will pay that mind boggles even at $5000 a dose
