If that is the case, maybe they figured they might as well go for broke, given the call for blood when ANZ was trying to mediate.
When ANZ was trying to mediate, many people on HC were demanding compensation forloss of profit, interest on funds held, compensation for stress etc.
So maybe given the nature of the posts on HotCopper, ANZ figured they might as well play the ultimate hardball, given that nobody was giving them room to move.
