I suspect he won't blame the Aussie shareholders -- he wouldn't think we peasants have that much clout. He'll think the people who voted against him were big holders (mates whose back he scratched, who now he feels betrayed him). Awkward silences at the water cooler. Tense conversations about the weather. (Nobody will dare bring up Covid, for fear of wondering why there isn't demand for the product.) He will be suffering a shame version of PTSD for quite a while. He used the word 'humiliation' when @Brett MH suggested his resolution be changed, to demand higher achievements. So this is a whole level up from that. He (and Brendan) designed these resolutions as a fait accompli. HE WILL BE PISSED OFF LIKE A BOND VILLAIN. As for why the company spread (and sprayed) its efforts across numerous continents -- that was all about creating sizzle for Nasdaq etc, in the hope that mundane follow-through wouldn't be called for. It never occurred to me that any of those resolutions could be defeated. Proud of the shareholders who took the effort to vote. Well done team.
