I too had VCR when its was in its $3.xx range, but also bought lower too and lost it all - but overall probably came out about even.

I believe the product is world standard. I also believe the FDA has played hard ball with VCR, with delays, demands, etc, stretching its business plan time wise and making it more costly to succeed. I have always thought the FDA was US centric and nothing that has happened in these last 5 years has changed my mind!

Yes, with hindsight management could have done a lot better, e.g. kept all salaries and bonuses in check, waiting for the day when the big payback came, rather that spending big while trying to get the business going. But hey, VCR could not see the current crisis any better than the finance guru's! Also, VCR could not foresee the crap that occurred over margin lending - forcing some large SH to sell and destroying the sp along the way. And oh yes, shorters! Bunch of wealth destroying AH!

Now the question is survival (as it has been for all public coy's for many months!). Even though I don't hold (but am thinking of getting in with the little funds I have left), I believe their tech is good, the coy is getting very close to commercialization, etc. and just need to survive another 12 months or so to get there.

So, you never know, there is a tremendous amount of money out there, so a new investor in VCR is not out of the question.

BTW, ,it would be a shame for VCR to fail, of course SH would lose, but Australia as a nation would lose more, IMO. Maybe the government could kick in?
