Fundamentals overrides sentiment over the long term. LPT's are a low return, low yield but stable investment but they have envolved into leveraged house of cards due to overborrowing. Even 30% geared too high in this credit constrained environment. They have to constantly rollover debt, cut the dividend or raise equity. If banks do not want to rollover the debt and no new lenders are willing to refinance it, cashflow from rentals cannot possibly pay down the debt.
