re: according to the tv news last night The sell off is understandable but the effect on earnings is fairly short term as it is due to only two of its projects, from what I understand. LEI is a huge company with 100's of projects, including most of the governement infrastructure projects. So, given that the loss making projects are easilly isolated and fixed, profit should return to where it was within 12 months. That would make it good buying on this pull back.
Unfortunately I do hold some LEI and there was no real indication coming its just one of the pitfalls in blue chips. I missed the blue chip grendades thrown by NAB, AMP, and SGW a while back, this time i finally copped one. I have read the reports, put it in to context. Im going to hold as I think in 6 months it will be back up close to where it was, if not higher.
