I think we should fly when it comes the day a customer:-
1) Enters credit card details
2) Visa or mastercard detected
3) Customer pointed to a temporary visa or mastercard webpage and offer split it as option before customer confirms
Then there's no need for us to go around chasing merchants to sign up.
