Thanks all I am seeking advice and formulating the questions I need answered But I need a general understanding in order to ask relevant questions. The value of the shares I have outside my SMSF varies but is over $1m.
One option is to pay the heafty CGT and put a considerably smaller amt inside my SMSF but was wondering if there was a better option. This option may be better in the long term but worst in the short term.
I also noticed that as a Share Trader you are not subject to CGT. I understand that I was not a Share Trader when I puchased the shares, so this may not be a solution.
The recommended contact I have is an accountant and good for SMSFs. Any recommendations for advisors within the Share Trading Industry?
