There is also a 5pm US deadline for GMAC to come up with billions of dollars.
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Dow even 800-1000 points down, though at this stage that looks very unlikely.
Then again, maybe the Plunge Protection Team will rescue the Dow before things get too ugly.
