Thanks for all your comments Bug. HotCopper isn't usually kind to anything but hype, but it seems like the UWL threads are very receptive to realism and sensibility.
I've been watching this one and reading up on it for a bit over a month. I can't really fault it, but do acknowledge that it's going to sit towards the speculative end of my portfolio and as such I won't be allocating as much to it if/when I decide to buy.
I don't really understand the risk from NBN in greenfield developments. Have you found anything worth reading on that?
All in all, it sounds like you're not quite convinced on UWL, but that you're not far off either. I don't mind entering around these prices, especially as from a technical viewpoint it's made quite a bullish move up today through the 50MA, momentum is shifting and the 20MA will reverse later this week. Depending on how it trades over the next few days I may look to enter.
I like you skepticism and I'm curious, what price do you think you'd be prepared to pay? I preferred $1.375, but I believe there is a good chance we won't see it unless overall market sentiment changes considerably.
