Here's an example of Norwood's modelling. This is from the unadulterated version off the presentation given via the Webinar, not the version submitted to ASX.

All the bottom line revenue numbers are extrapolated from the key assumption at line 6 - "New VM Users as % of customer base (million)". PO stated that this modelling is what they use to press their business case to telcos. I don't know about anyone else but it seems to me that an acquisition in year one of 30% of existing customer base in new users is mighty optimistic. Doubling that to 60% in year two even more so.

And yes, in my opinion I do think these numbers are plucked out of the air. There is no objective evidence or references provided for where these numbers come from, nor is there any subsequent evidence via NOR's engagement with Spark NZ that even vaguely support them.

If you are in the camp that believes that;

1. Telcos all over the world are operating on not for purpose legacy VM systems
2. Said telcos are crying out for a VM solution to replace their legacy systems
3. The telco's customer base is pressuring them to do it soon; and
4. Norwood Systems has the most advanced VVM solution in the market which is relatively easy to implement, cheap to run and will produce significant cost benefits to both it's telco provider and their end user

Then where are the deals? Where is the end user revenue from the only existing deal. Why is there no significant chatter about VVM on well known discussion boards like Whirlpool locally and Reddit more broadly?
