Yeah you are dead right mate, booms are complete stupidity and recessions are exactly what the country needs right now.

Mainly because it gives the govt a chance to spend some money on the infrastructure the country needs instead of running these stupid budget surpluses year after year that just encourage money to be dumped into non-productive bubble behaviour. We must be the only national government that doesnt have government bonds any more - the USA runs their whole economy on them.
