I buy long term growth stories. Yes, some of the stocks don't have PEs, some of them do but I'd much rather own APX, NEA, CSL, EML, Microsoft and many others that continue to take marketshare in the fields they dominate rather than buying the so called value stocks that stay cheap forever. Unless AMX can show confident growth with a strong strategy I don't see your point.

They talk up a bit game with overseas expansion but Nearmap spent hundreds of millions in order to do that. Are you supposing AMX can do it more efficiently than them? Are you suggesting that they don't need a US sales presence? Are you suggesting they don't need to spend millions on the actual software? As a user of both metromaps and nearmap I know both platforms well. Metromaps needs to go a long way. Yes they both integrate to GIS software but that doesn't suit all use cases.

At least grow the Aussie sales much faster to justify that your platform works.

I know Nearmap well and have supported it for many years and been a holder but at no point in time would I want other tech companies in Australia to fail. There is room for multiple competitors, I just question whether the AMX story is going to take as long as the Nearmap story to eventuate and if that's the case will they really capture significant marketshare?
