    Morning all.

I hope this is the right place to ask this - I'm fairly new to the idea of day trading, and have been lurking in these threads for a month or so, picking up little tidbits here and there where I can. I've had some minor successes with short term holds, but nothing like intraday in-and-outs like you guys.

At the moment I'm specifically curious if there's any (somewhat) reliable markers for whether it's a wise idea to hold a stock overnight, or if offloading it before close is the best idea. I bought some 1AD shares about five minutes after the latest ANN yesterday afternoon, which is what's prompting me to ask.

And without wanting to sound rude and ungrateful, yes, I'm aware that nobody here is a seer. And that the market moves the way the market moves, and also that some profit is better than no profit. I'm not so much asking about how to make money, but more specifically whether there are things I can look out for that would indicate whether option A or B is best in the hypothetical situation I've laid out. I'd just like to give myself a leg-up if and where I can, so I thought I'd ask some folk who seem to be a little more knowledgeable in this field.

    Cheers in advance!
