Hardly a fair use of statistics when you cherry pick the day with the lowest AUD/USD rate in over 10 years. AUD/USD was literally 0.55 for one or two days, and was only below 0.60 for a week in total.
Despite the AUD POG trading relatively flat recently, it's pretty naive to say that appreciating towards all time highs in USD isn't putting a lot of spotlight on gold, hence creating very positive sentiment.
